Support
Solar questions belong in the forum, where installers and engineers can answer them. Everything else — accounts, bugs, reports — comes to us.
Ask the community
For anything about solar itself — sizing, quotes, subsidies, net metering. Usually answered faster than email, by people who have done it.

Account help
I forgot my password.
There is no self-service reset yet. Email us from the address on your account and we'll help you regain access.
I want to change my name, bio, or profile details.
Edit them yourself under Settings while signed in. Profile photos are the one thing you can't change there yet — email us for that.
I want to change my password.
Settings → Change password, while signed in. Changing it signs you out on every other device. If you've forgotten it, email us — there's no self-service reset yet.
I want to delete my account.
Email us and we'll remove your account and personal data. Note that posts may be anonymised rather than deleted, because removing one side of a public conversation makes the rest unreadable for everyone else.
Someone is impersonating me or posted my details.
Report the post and email us the link. Personal information posted without consent is removed as a priority.
Reporting content
Every question, answer, and comment has a Report button. Use it — a report goes straight to the moderation queue and is never shown to the author.
For anything urgent — someone's personal data exposed, impersonation, a safety risk — report the post and email us the link so we see it immediately.
Grievance Officer
Under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, complaints about content or about a moderation decision can be raised with our Grievance Officer at hello@solarcom.in. We acknowledge within 24 hours and aim to resolve within 15 days. Include a link to the content and what your objection is. For copyright notices, law-enforcement requests, and other formal matters, see legal requests.
We're a small team and Solarcom is free, so email replies usually take a couple of working days. If your question is about solar rather than the site, the forum will almost always get you an answer sooner — and it helps the next person too.
